Ruggedman To Nairamarley “Do Yahoo But Don’t Mislead People”

Popular Nigerian rapper, Ruggedman has cautioned singer Nairamarley not to mislead the people on his stance on internet fraud – You can do Yahoo, but don’t mislead the young ones – He said to him.

@nairamarley My brother, I love your music and all but you need to get one thing clear and do not mislead people. Especially kids on social media. You can do Yahoo all you want, but do not disrespect the part of the black race that were sold into slavery by trying to use it to justify cybercrime. The people who bought slaves died ages ago.

If you feel you want to fight that, then start a cause or movement against the British and America. Who ever owned slaves, but stealing the hard earned money of other people isnt about slavery. You say the Nigerian leaders are looting trillions out of this country, why aren’t you hacking their accounts and giving back to the people Robin Hood style?

I swear I go hail you for that one. But bro respect the black race and dont try to use it to justify cybercrime. E no follow. If it wasnt a crime popo wont be busting boys for it.
Thousands of qualified Nigerians cant get jobs outside Nigeria because of “yahoo”. Their families are suffering.

Young Nigerians are seen as suspect everywhere they go, all over the world  because of “yahoo”. If you want to engage in it, go ahead and enjoy. Nobody is stopping you.

“A Politician once asked me to swear allegiance to a cult to get power and position in the country” – Taribo west

A former Super Eagles defender, Taribo West, has opened up in a new interview with Tana Aiyejina on how a politician once asked him to swear allegiance to a cult to get power and position in the country.

He was asked if he believes the reason why sportsmen and women are excluded from sports administration is because they lack educational qualifications and technical know how.

He said:

“That’s total rubbish; nonsense. How educated are those in FIFA? In Nigeria, is it every politician that went to school? Some can’t even write their names. But it’s only in my country that those in positions use demonic criteria to keep people away.

In other countries, if you are competent for the job, they will give it to you. We’ve got lots of ex-footballers who are graduates, lawyers, doctorate degree holders these days. Where are they now? Some are doing very well in their various fields.

I have been involved in the political system and things like this discouraged me from it. If it means I have to be a cultist to get a position, I’m not ready for that.

I’ll prefer to drink my garri at home and be free with God. At the time I was in politics, a running mate to a governorship aspirant in my state (Rivers), brought me money and told me to join their cult.”

He told me if I wanted power, they would give me position, and that if I wanted money, I would be enriched. But he insisted that I must belong in their cultism activities. So, I disassociated myself from them.

From that day, I made up my mind that I rather remain poor, than become a cultist. Like I said earlier, I’ve met politicians who can’t speak good English but because they have godfathers and belong to various cults, they’ve been empowered. It’s total rubbish. I’m not afraid to say what needs to be said.”
